My diva

It will come as no surprise to anyone that my daughter is a mini me.

She is a diva.

She is all frills and thrills.

Take today for example.

We went the the local park and were having so much fun. Until she decided she was old enough to go down the pole. Which is 6ft long and you have to step off a platform onto it. Well she forgot to grab the pole or just didn't.
She fell.
She hit the ground so hard that her awesome bows flew out of her hair.

I am running to her. Yep 31 weeks preggo and running. Glad no one was there with a camera. I get to her and pick her up.

Are you ok punkin?

Mommy, my bows fell out!!!

I know the horror. Well are you ok?

Ya, I want daddy.

So we pack up and home we came since daddy was home for lunch.

Our park is very safe. It has rubber ground up underneath the equipment. It is the best. She could have seriously been hurt if it had been something else.

She also mentioned to her dad that she was not listening to mommy tell her NO DON'T! Well at least she admits it.

This mommy thing is for the birds sometimes.
Our cute bows are from Sweet Petunia Boutique.
Check her out on Facebook. She is amazing. She has the best quality I have seen yet!

Admission into MommyLand

So I feel like I need to give a little background on my admission into MommyLand.

I told you before that I had been married to a frog prince. We tried for years to have a baby. In the end it was probably also the destruction of our marriage.
We tried and tried the normal way. Practice makes perfect right?
Although when your husband says "what am I a machine?" Due to all the practice it should have been a red flag. It wasn't.

We tried artificial insemination because IVF was too expensive. It didn't work.
We tried clomid and other drugs. No baby.
We gave up. I got pregnant. I miscarried at 11 weeks.
I was devastated.
Him? Not so much. We never talked about it.
I lost interest in everything but running. I started running half marathons. I guess I figured it took my mind off it. He hated me running. I planned fun vacations around running. I went by myself.

Red flags?

We ended up divorced. Big surprise right?

Well my best friend eventually became my Prince Charming. I got pregnant. Carried to term and have my sometimes very sweet little princess.

I thought it was a fluke. The doctors told me I would not be able to get pregnant without IVF. Well I did.

Welcome to Running though MommyLand

Two years ago I became a first time mom and ever since I have been running through the theme park known as MommyLand. It's and up and down roller coaster ride of laughter and tears.

My name is Mommy, Mom, Hey, honey and Cheryl

Yep I go by all those things.

I thought I would tell you a bit about myself so maybe you can find a bit in common with my life.

I married my Prince Charming (Daddy to the kids, Honey to me, Kevin to everyone else) in April 2012. I have been married twice before to some pretty evil toads, hey live and learn then do it right.

I wished upon a star many times and finally my wish came true and in 2010 I became a mommy to my Lil Pumpkin Pie, Shelby. I either wished to many times or I am just blessed but I am getting another granted wish in November of this year, 2012. All together we are a family of six including 2 of Kevin's children from a previous waste of time marriage.  We both believe we had to go through the worst to get the best in life.

I am a work at home mom. I am a Scentsy Family Consultant, doTerra IPC and Origami Owl designer. I get to spend quality time with my family and schedule my work around them.

When I am not pregnant I am a runner. I have run 7 half marathons, 2 10ks and 3 5ks. I have a goal of running a full marathon but every time I start to train I get pregnant. I guess someone else has better plans.

I love everything Disney. I was able to take my little girl for her first trip this year and I cant wait to take my son. Lucky for me Disneyland has 2 half marathons each year for me to run sooooooooo when I can talk the hubs into it we will go. I never have to twist his arm much. He loves to make me happy and I him.

I love Coffee and Diet Coke. Lucky they make decaf for when I am preggo!

My family is first for me. I am so glad that I have such a supportive family. It makes life so much easier.

So are you ready to join me on my adventure through MommyLand? It is sure to be a wild ride.
