Best EVER strapless bra!

Have you searched HIGH and low for the perfect strapless bra?

Seriously I have. I gave up wearing cute tanks cause I could never find the right one.  The ones I always found I had to keep tugging the girls up.
Let's be honest after breastfeeding 2 kids and at one time weighing over 200 pounds the twins just are not what they used to be.

Ladies all is not lost though. I have found what I think is the perfect bra. Before kids I was a 36C. Not small not hugs. Then after kids 36D. Before kids and being heavy PERKY after well....not so much.

So I was searching and searching and came across this

Read the reviews: The bra sounds like a dream.

So I ordered. I have worn it twice and I am in lurve with it. I am going to order more.

I never had to keep pulling the twins up. The bra stayed put in the front and the back. I could lean over and pick things up and not come spilling out of the top. Also it sucks the twins in a little. I felt like a B cup.
The best part is I can wear cute tanks again. I even tried a strapless dress. Oh bring on the summer.

Let me know if you try this.

I have started using Project Life digitals. Has anyone else used them?

Operation Organization

I have been needing to organize in the worst way.

Seriously it was so bad I had misplaced my favorite hoodie and and given up thinking it went in the donate pile awhile ago. During this whole operation I found it. YAY!!

So how do you start an operation like this?

You text your sister and place a few Thirty-One orders. (BTW don't you love my family full of direct sales consultants :))

Ok I digress......

When my orders finally came in I got to work. I had planned for some of the stuff I ordered to be for the kids. Then I realized that maybe Mommy needed them more. I had ordered 2 oversized storage organizers for under the bed and 3 your way rectangles for in the closet.

So I cleaned out the closet, the dresser and the chest of drawers. When it was all done I had emptied 3 drawers from the dresser and 1 out of the chest of drawers. There was also now a huge gap at the back of my closet.

I am far from being done but our room is done. Next is the kids rooms. I love the quality of items from Thirty One.

Now I have to pack up all the donated stuff and either donate it our have a yard sale. <---- Anyone want to help?

I am pretty sure that the hubby would like me to be done. He has hauled 2 truck loads of stuff to our storage container and just as many loads to the dumpster. Where do I put all this stuff?

I can not wait for my Thirty One party. Wanna come? You can even shop online. June 1. Let me know if you do and I will give you the link.

Vinyl Fun

I love when I have a little time to play with my Silhouette Cutter.

Since we moved the kids into their own rooms I felt like I could personalize their space a little bit.

Shelby already had her princess walls and photo gallery. We updated pictures on her wall. Then we added something to her door. A crown and her name in the Minnie font.

And I could not leave Shawn out. He has airplanes in his room. So he gets a plane and notice the Monsters Inc font? I love that about this cutter. I can use any font on my computer.

Shelby  also just got about a hundred barbies and all their crap stuff to go with them. We had to organize. I added a little something to her drawers for her. I also got to try out the trace function on the Silhouette. I downloaded the Barbie logo and traced it and cut it out. LOVE IT!!!!

I have been wanting something in our bedroom but I have not been able to figure it out. I found out how to cut LARGE images on the cutter and made this sign above our bed. Hubby and I have this thing. Always kiss goodnight and when he leaves in the morning. Even if I am asleep. I love this thing we have. So this saying is perfect. I love the picture above our bed as well. Check out the girls at Eighteen25 and get yours.

Don't mind the bright light in the picture!!!

Do you cut out your own vinyl?

I have very textured walls and some find it very hard to get vinyl to stick. Here is a tip: blow dryer!!!!

Once you have the saying on the wall get out your blow dryer and heat up the vinyl. As you go press the letters into the wall. Viola!

6 months

6 months!
Why does life pass by so quickly?

Luckily I don't get to miss a minute of my kids growing up. The beauty of being a work at home mom. My office is where they are.

In November we brought this bundle of joy home. He was so tiny ( to us). He was the missing link in our lives. Such a welcomed addition.

He is 6 months old!!!!!
When did he get so big?
Oh son, you make this mommy smile.

You have started eating solid food and aren't quite sure about it.
You laugh all the time.
You love being on your tummy.
You are still sleeping though the night.

You love waking your sissy up in the morning.
You think she is sooooo funny.
You love your daddy time.
You love being in the stroller to go for a run with mommy and sissy.

No stats yet.

We love you baby boy. Now stop growing.

Spray Tanning

I am a former Tanorexic. In high school I went at least 3 days a week and laid in the warm beds and 90% of the time fell asleep.

Then I stopped going. The main reason was when I moved to Utah the place I went to did not have unlimited passes. Yes I needed more than 10 tans a month thank you very much.

Then I started only going for special occasions. Then just in the summer. Then I quit. My ex husband told me once that tanning didn't make me look any better. ( no it was not my cue to leave....yet.)

It has been a few years since I have been tanning. Mostly due to being pregnant. The other is that I really don't want cancer.

So I have always heard about spray tanning, never tried it. I have seen some that when they came out they were ORANGE!!! Um no thanks not for me.

I am a runner and I get tan lines from my clothes. I wanted to even up the tan. I mean hello summer is coming and strapless dresses are calling my name.

Here is what I am talking about (tan Lines)

Do you see them? Dark shoulders....white lines. Lets fix that.

This is where Kanab Spray Tans comes into play.

The girl that does it is name Tara. She is super cute. So fun.

I was a little nervous. I mean it was my first time :)

So I got all the instructions. The dos and do nots. What to wear or not.

The whole process took about 30 minutes and out the door you go. Of course I had to chat and catch up so I was there a little longer.

So I took some pics right out of the booth. She said that it would take a few hours to really set in.

The hubby noticed right away I was darker.

I noticed I was more evenly shaded. I loved the experience and am asking myself why did I wait so long.

Hey Mombo

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Comfort and Harmony. All opinions are 100% mine.
A few weeks ago we were sent a mombo nursing pillow to test out.
If you do not know what it is let me tell you. It is a nursing pillow and infant positioner. It is made by Comfort and Harmony. Their products are available at Babies R US.
This is the product description:
Comfort & Harmony's mombo is everything you'll need in a nursing pillow and much more! The Firm2SoftTM, 2-Sided construction, is uniquely designed to offer distinct benefits on each side. The firm side offers enhanced back support during nursing and just the right elevation for baby. the soft side creates the perfect environment for lounging. The optional vibration helps soothe baby. Use the vibration anytime throughout the day.
Right out of the box I was in love. Soft fabric and it was disney. We were sent the Lion King version with vibrator. Perfect since my Little Man loves Simba.

I could not wait for my little guy to try it out. Of course his sister wanted to share the experience.
The first thing I noticed was that it was so sturdy. It held him up well. When he turned over and started with Tummy Time he was able to get up a little more than normal.

He held his bottle for the first time on his own while using this product. He also started to try and sit up more due to the stiffness of the mombo.
I wish we had this product first.

Mid week family date

I love dates with my hubby. He normally does not take off work in the middle of the week but he did yesterday.

We got up early and took off for a family day in St. George. I went to bed late and was up at2 with Shelby. Then the alarm went off at 5 and I finally got up at 6. Thanks to my Magic makeup I don't look like crap tired.

Shelby was so excited to go to Targ (aka Target). She always says its a nice store. I think so too sis!

She is so obsessed with anything princess or Barbie.

Not Sharing

Her first time at Chick-fil-a. She thought it was yummy. She was in love with the lemonade.

Thanks to my honey I got my Swig. Dirty Diet Coke. Nothing better.

We got tons of shopping done. We all got a prize. As Shelby calls it.

The best part of the day was just being together. We love spending time as a family. I can't wait to do it again.

Mind of her own

Kids in general have a mind of their own.
I can appreciate this fact.

If you have a daughter I swear it is 100 times worse than normal. Add in the fact that she is almost 3 and well basically I give up.

The other day we walked to the park. I played with Shawn on the grass. Shelby can't stand not being in front of the camera. ( Not sure why, it is not like it hasn't been in her face since birth)

Anyway, I try to pose her or at least get her to smile

Here are my results

Then there are these....

Luckily he is young enough he still cooperates!

Comforts for Baby

A few weeks ago we were sent some formula to try in exchange for my opinion about it.  It is Comforts for Baby. It is a Kroger brand formula. They sent us the Premium formula which is comparable to Enfamil Premium.

Mr Man has acid reflux so even on Similac Sensitive for AR he was throwing up.  We accepted the fact that he threw up. We just became prepared. We tried doTerra DigestZen and that helped but it didn't end it.

I was a little fearful to switch up his formula. We had run out of the Similac so I figured why not give it a try. The first full day on it went great. He hardly spit up at all. We continued with it. He kept doing great on it. There was a little spit up here and there but for the most part not much at all.

We ran out of it and we decided to stick with this brand since he did so well on it. I ran into my first problem......

Not available online or close to me!!!

So the closest store that carries it is 80 miles from me. Not that big of deal. I just have to plan when I go shopping. The other problem is I do not shop at Smith's and they are the only ones that carry it. It is a little out of the way in the town that does carry it.

I wish that they had it available online for me to purchase.

We have stuck with this brand. I will do what I have to for my kids. So if I have to drive out of my way to get this for him I will.

Overall it is a great value and my little guy does great on it. I give it a 2 thumbs up.

So if you are looking for a great formula that saves you a little in your wallet. Give it a try.

They also have other products:
Health and Hygiene supplies

We will be checking out the full line of products. Stay tuned.
All opinions are my own. Thank you Comforts for Baby for the formula. You now have a new customer.

Enjoy the moments

I have learned lately to enjoy the moment. I realize I ay not have that much time left with my grandparents and I want to make every moment count.

We have been spending a lot of our days with my grandparents. We spent the entire weekend at their house. I love watching them with my children. They love my husband as well. Yes that is huge since they hated the last one.

Today being Mother's Day we enjoyed every moment.

I have to thank my hubby for the extra sleep....a whole 15 minutes. Shelby came running in and wished me a Happy Mother's Day. No better way to wake up. Well ok a tie for best way ;)

Shawn was downstairs and all smiles when I came down to see him and his daddy.

We did, well hubby did, yard work. I visited with the bestie. Then we went to see gram.

Hubby took some great pictures for me to cherish. Even though Shelby has her own agenda.

I have said it before. I will not stop saying it. I love being a mom. I always wanted to be one. They are the best decision we have ever made, besides falling in love and getting married.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Hug the ones you love. Tell them you love them often. Never take them for granted.

Happy Mother's Day

I think we need more than one day to celebrate mothers.
 Just saying.

I have 2 moms. I also have very special grandMOM.

This mom gave me life:

My mom and I

She is my mom. She is the one who loved me first. She chose to have me in her life. She gave me life so I could be a mom one day. She is a  great mom and a great grammy too.
With her first born grandchild from her first born child.

This mom chose to share in my life:
My other mom
She accepted me as her own. I am her step child and you would never know that. She claims me as her own. She treats me no different.

My grandMOM
Last Mother's Day

Grammy with her 3 grandbabies. 4 months pregnant with Shawn.
This women is my rock, my example, my hero.
She has always been there for me. Her and I have been through it all. She has supported me in my life without judgement or question. We share no blood but you can not break our bond.

All my moms have been such great examples in my life. They have shown me the type of mom/step-mom that I want to be.

These two call me mom. I have been pregnant 4 times, once before each of these two.  They are my dreams come true. The reason I now reside in MommyLand.

I am very lucky to have the ladies i my life that provided such great examples of what a mom should be. I am lucky to be called mommy.

Remember to tell the special lady in your life how grateful you are. Hug the reason why you are being celebrated.

Happy Mother's Day to all moms out there.

Happy Cinco de Mayo

I love any excuse to celebrate with Mexican food. It is my favorite. I knew I needed to go burn some calories in order to stuff myself tonight.

So we did a pre celebration race. It was a virtual race. I had 2 others join me so we just did a walk instead of a run.

It took us 57:00 minutes but we had fun.

2 medals 2 races 2 days

This momma is worn out.

Now let's eat.

Need to Spring up my bedroom!!

I love the light that shines in my room all day. It makes it so bright and cheery.

I have been wanting to get a little more spring in the room though. I have bright colored bedding so that wasn't it.

I have white walls and cream carpet.....still not it.

So I choose to change something simple. My Scentsy warmer and wax.

I make sure to change the wax once a week. So I made sure to pick some Spring scents from my stash.

Hello Yellow and Pozy Peach mixed together

Now to change the warmer...

I use to have this one

I love it.  I bought when I was pregnant with Shelby and to see the blooms made me think of new life. So it was a perfect fit. It still is I just have to find a new place for it.

A few months ago the new Scentsy catalog came out and I got this:
 Perfect for Spring right?

I love it. It is a perfect fit in my room. The cage part comes off for you to put your wax in.
So now my room is so spring feeling.

Are you needing  a change...check out the new Scentsy Catalog or contact me for current specials.

What do you do to make your home ready for spring?

Dry Erase Activity Book

I came across something on Pinterest one day and knew I needed to make one. Here is the one I saw. I wanted to change it up a bit and do it more school based for Shelby. I want to start getting her ready  to preschool.  I also thought this would be a good start to my prepping to home school my children.

I started with all this....
All the supplies needed for Shelby's book. Added bonus Finger Paint. Lapse in judgement there.

Princess Crown kit from Stampin longer offered. I tend to hoard supplies.
All this was in my stash...see hoarder.

Everything stored in the pencil case.

All colored

Just wipe it right off and reuse
 She loves it.
I love the fact that she can learn and not go through 100 sheets of paper. The preschool book I used has over 300 pages in it. So after she gets bored with the current ones she can swap them out. Win Win!!!
