I forgot I knew how to run

After the Star Wars Half Marathon weekend I struggled to fall in love with running.  I had planned for a half marathon in February and that didn't happen. I planned to do a relay race in March and that didn't happen.
I had/have been doing Insanity Max 30 and I stopped running. I have been watching my body change shape with Insanity Max. I was losing weight and gaining muscle. I was ok with that.

 I have Ragnar Trail-Zion in a month and knew I needed to change my mindset. I needed to start running again.

Would my body remember how to run?
Could I just pick up where I left off?

Would I love it again?

The answer to all of those questions is YES!!!

After the first day back on the treadmill I was in love with running again. My body remembered what to do. I was even a bit faster then when I was training for Star Wars.

So I have been running everyday and doing Insanity Max. I will say I max out a little faster this week then last week due to the added workouts but I am still pushing myself.

I am amazed at what my body is able to do. I not only remember how to run I love it again.


I am a sweaty mess but it is paying off.
